Kids Planet at Century Park

Nestled in Century Park between Hwy. 14 and Buncombe Road, Kids Planet is a wonderful recreation spot for all ages. It has two awesome playstructures, surrounded by wooden picnic areas, pavillions and a paved walking track. It was built through a huge outpouring of love by the community of Greer for the children of Greer and the Upstate.

For The Kids

Kids Planet benefits children by giving them a free, safe haven to run, jump, laugh and play heartily. It also is a place where all members of the community can come together to share smiles and laughter.

Kids Planet revitalization

In March 1999 a group of 3000 volunteers came together to build Kids Planet park.  The park is a wonderful recreation spot for children of all ages and abilities.  Ten years and thousands of children later the park needs a revitalization.  In keeping with the tradition of the Park’s volunteer-based construction, we would like to extend an invitation to public volunteers to undertake this project.  Although the park will not require as much work as it did at inception, we need as many volunteers as possible to restore the Park to the beauty we remember from spring of 1999.  In the well-known spirit of Greer community service, please help us keep this special Greer landmark in good condition.  Any contribution, whether physical or monetary, will be greatly appreciated for generations to come.
